Dancer. Singer. Actress. Choreographer.
Strike up the Band!
Working as a barista at her local coffee shop: Kookaburra Coffee Company in Rockville Centre, Mary reconnected with a drama club friend from high school and joined local blues/rock band: Rich Townsend and the NighTrain. A flutist since the age of 8, Mary decided to brush up her improvisational jazz flute skills. Mary brings her tap board and improvises to a pianist, singer, harmonica, drummer, saxophone, trombone, guitarist and bass. She usually switches between tap and flute for different sets, however she is currently working on playing the flute while tap dancing simultaneously. The band has a residency at 909 W Beech St, Long Beach on Friday nights. For updates regarding pop up performances on the island or in the NYC area, stay tuned via Instagram @richtandthenightrain! Videos to come:)
